Triune Nature of God and the Deity of Christ:
We believe in one God, manifest in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We absolutely believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ.
(John 1:1, John 1:14, 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:7)

The Virgin Birth and the Vicarious Sacrifice:

We believe Jesus was born of Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He lived a sinless life, although He was tempted like any other man. He died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, but only those who accept this gift by faith will receive forgiveness.
(Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26-35, 1 John 2:2, John 1:11-12)

The Resurrection and Ascension:

We believe in the literal, physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. He ascended into heaven, where He now sits on the right hand of the Father.
(Luke 24:1-7, Acts 1:9-12, Acts 2:33-35, Rom. 8:34)

Salvation and Perseverance:
We believe a sinner is saved the moment he repents of his sins and believes the good news of Jesus Christ. We do not believe good works merit our salvation in any way, nor are good works the cause of our perseverance. Perseverance is by faith alone just as salvation is by faith alone. Nor is there a second chance after death.
(Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16-18, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 9:27)

The Old and New Covenants:

We recognize that the words "covenant" and "testament" are identical in the original languages. We believe the Old Covenant has been replaced by the New Covenant, therefore all must come to salvation through Jesus and the New Covenant. We do not believe that we are under the letter of the Law, but we are to live by the spirit of the Law.
(Romans 6:14, 1 Corinthians 9:21, Galatians 3:24-25, Galatians 4:21-5:1, Galatians 6:2, Hebrews 8:7-13, Hebrews 10:9)

The Holy Spirit:

We believe that every true believer is indwelled and sealed by the Holy Spirit, at the moment of salvation.  We believe that He is given to comfort, instruct, convict of sin, correct, and sustain the child of God, and is the deposit guaranteeing our future inheritance in the Kingdom of God.
(Romans 8:9, 2 Corinthians 5:5, Ephesians 1:13-14)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit:

We believe in a separate experience, known as the "baptism" or
"infilling" of the Holy Spirit. We believe that when a Christian experiences the "baptism" that it gives them power to cast out demons, heal the sick and the other works that Jesus did when He was here on earth, bodily. Because that is the example that Jesus gave to us when He was "baptized" with the Holy Spirit.  And we were commanded by Jesus to do those things, by the "great commission" at His ascension.
(John 14:12, Acts 1 & 2, Acts 19:2-6, Matt 3:11, Matt 12:28, 31-32, Luke 4:18, Matt 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-20, Acts 8:15-21, Mark 1:8-12, Luke 3:22, Luke 4:1, John 1:33, Acts 4:31,  Jude 1:20, I Cor. 14:18)

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit:

We believe all of the "gifts of the Spirit" are still relevant and working until Jesus comes. We do believe that the gift of speaking in tongues, is available to all believers that are filled with the Holy Spirit. We believe 1 Corinthians 13:10 refers to Jesus Christ, not the completion of the New Testament canon. We strongly disagree with the abuse of spiritual gifts.
(1 Corinthians 12:27-31, 1 Corinthians 13:10, 1 Corinthians 1:4-8)

The Church:
We believe the Church presently consists of all the redeemed of all ages. It is not limited to only New Testament believers, and entrance has always been by grace.
(Matthew 8:11-12, Ephesians 1:9-10, Ephesians 4:4-6, Hebrews 11:39-40)

The Great Commission:
We believe the Great Commission is the "mission" of the Church until Jesus returns. The end will not come until the gospel has preached into all the world for a witness unto all nations.
(Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 24:14, 2 Peter 3:9)

The Second Coming and the First Resurrection:
We believe that at the coming of the Lord, there will be a bodily resurrection of the saints who have died, and the living saints will be caught up.  We are praying for Pre and preparing for a Post tribulation rapture.
(Matthew 24:3, Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

The Judgment:

We believe the saved will be judged and rewarded according to our works. We also believe there will be a judgment for the unsaved, as well as a literal "lake of fire" for satan and all unsaved people and all the demons who were thrown out of Heaven with Lucifer.
(1 Corinthians 3:11-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 11:18)

The Thousand Years:
We believe that we will reign with Christ a thousand years after the first resurrection. However, since the Bible does not use the phrase "millennial kingdom" we avoid it.
(Revelation 2:26-27, Revelation 19:15, Revelation 20:4-6)

The Second Death:
We believe in the resurrection of unbelievers after the thousand-year reign, the last judgment, and eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire for the unsaved.
(Revelation 14:11, Revelation 20:11-15)

The Bible:
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments were inspired by God, and are free from all errors in their original form. We believe in the preservation of the text of Scripture, through the providence of God, for each generation.
(Psalm 12:6-7, Matthew 5:17-18, Matthew 24:35, 1 Peter 1:23, Proverbs 30:6, Revelation 22:18-19, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)

What We Believe - The End Times

Day of the Lord and Day of Christ:
We do not believe the Scripture distinguishes between the Day of the Lord and the Day of Christ.

Kingdom of Heaven and Kingdom of God:
We disagree with distinguishing between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God.

The Pretrib Rapture Doctrine May Very Well Be The Apostasy:
Part of the apostasy in the last days may very well be the pretrib rapture doctrine.

 What We Do Not Believe

Unconditional Eternal Security:
We do not believe in unconditional eternal security, often called "once saved always saved" (OSAS).

Teaching only the Pretrib Rapture theory:
As we stated above, we are praying for Pre and are preparing for Post.
(Matt. 24:3, Matt. 24:29-31. 1 Thess. 4:13-18)

There are obviously many other doctrinal issues, but these are the ones that usually cause disputes and confusion.

So we just wanted to be clear on what WE believe.

God bless!
